Division - 15U
DIVISION OVERVIEW
Player Birth Years - 2009 or 2010
The 15U division is tiered and at all levels the teams travel to play other associations. Players may try out for the "AA" or "AAA" teams that offer a very competitive level of play. These teams will play similar level teams from other associations.
Players not selected to the "AA" or "AAA" teams will be selected to one of the "A" teams which offer a more recreational level of play. These "A" teams will play "A" teams from other associations.
At 15U A there are both a spring and summer season. Players may elect to play in summer season after spring. To be eligible to play summer, players must have played in at least half of the games in spring season.
DIVISION RULES
- Base paths are set at 80 feet
- Pitchers throw from 54 feet
- Lead offs and stealing are allowed
- Games are 7 innings
- Balk balls are called on pitchers
- Running to 1B on a dropped 3rd strike is allowed.
Game and Practice Days
Practice days/times will be determined once registrations are finalized. The league schedule is prepared by B.C. Minor Baseball.
Games and practices are held at Blundell Field and the adjacent batting cage.
