The Richmond City Baseball Association (RCBA) Awards program assists students in transition from secondary school to college/university. The purpose of these awards is to support academically qualified students who show an interest in pursuing a post secondary education. The scholarships are awarded primarily for achievement in areas such as academic, leadership, community service, artistic endeavours and athletics.
The awards are open to students who will successfully complete the requirements for high school in British Columbia and are applying to attend a post secondary institution.
The RCBA awards are offered in denominations of $500 to $1000 up to a maximum of $5000 annually.

The application requires a nomination letter from someone who is well acquainted with you and who can comment on your character, academic qualifications, and leadership. These individuals may include – but are not limited to – coaches, teachers, counsellors, principals, supervisors from work and volunteer positions, and/or community or religious leaders
The deadline to apply for this award is May 31st the year the applicant is graduating Grade 12.
How to Apply?
Students in their final year of high school are eligible to apply for the award. To apply, the candidate must complete the RCBA Scholarship Application Form, provide a certified copy of their high school transcript, and a nomination letter.
The RCBA reserves the right to decide if any or all of the awards will be disbursed in any given year.
